Hi friends. My name is Melissa. I am married to David. We are the Darks. We have two bad dogs and we all live in an old house on a hill.
I teach arts and crafts at home and David teaches Biology and Physical Science at a private school. We are as different as two people could be, but we make a great team. We love working on our house together. We are, slowly but surely, making it our home and loving every minute of it!
I like making things, cooking, Coca-Cola, thrifting, and sitting on our front porch.
David likes teaching, running, writing, and mowing the grass.
We love our life, even if it's not picture perfect. We think the grass is greener right here where we are. Follow us as we live our lives somewhere between the "before" and "after."
