Would you like to guess who?
Here's some clues:
1. It's a girl.
2. She lives on a ranch.
3. She likes chaps and butter.
4. She wrote a cookbook and a Harlequin style romance novel.
Any guesses?
That's right. I'm headed up to Atlanta with some homies to meet P-Dub.
Marlboro Man is rumored to be on the scene, too.
I'm excited and nervous.
I'm a mixed bag when it comes to meeting famous folks.
I never know what to say.
What would you say to The Pioneer Woman?
Please share.
Stat.
If I'm left to my own devices, I'll be opening with something brilliant like "Hi. I like your food. Would you sign my book? You are funny."
I'll be taking suggestions until 6:30.
At approximately 6:30 I'll be hanging with PW and MM.
Holla.

ReplyDeleteSorry... I have no advice for you! Good luck :)
Let us know how it goes!!
Waaaaaaiiiiiiiit! THAT'S TONIGHT!?!? I wanted to go so badly!! How did I not know it was happening this very night!? Bummer. Next time, Ree. Next time.
ReplyDeleteAwesome! I went to see her in my hometown just last month. It was so nice to see her in person. She's exactly like what you think she's like. :) I ended up telling her how nervous I was to meet my first famous person. She blew that off, saying she was hardly famous. I also told her how beautiful her oldest daughter is. I've noticed that she's really becoming quite a beauty, and I thought what mom wouldn't want to hear that? So she was either grateful for the comment or worried about crazy people stalking her daughter.
ReplyDeleteHere's my post on meeting her: http://growthchartmoments.blogspot.com/2011/02/i-was-her-first-fan.html
Enjoy!!! It's really all about the time you spend with your friends, since the time you spend with her is RUSHED RUSHED RUSHED!
OH, and a woman behind us brought her wooden cutting board for her to sign. FUN!
ReplyDeleteSpill your guts.
