Greener Grass News

Hi Friends.

I have a lot of news for you today. All good news.

First of all, I'd like to thank all of you for coming back each day to read the blog. Thanks for all the encouraging comments. Your kindness is overwhelming. I really mean it.

Now, in case you are interested, I listed a few magnet sets for sale in my Etsy store (http://www.greenergrass.etsy.com/) yesterday. I have some awesome new products that I'm working on this week, so be on the look out for those and more magnets coming soon.  Greener Grass is back in business!

A Walk in the Woods Magnets and Clips

Also in the business realm, I am about to start my first series of Greener Grass sewing classes for beginners. I already have two spots reserved, but I can take a few more people. I am offering private and 2 person lessons for adults (ages 15+).  I can work with your schedule and sewing interests (whether you want to learn to sew for your home, children, etc.) If you are in the Macon area and are interested in learning to sew, please contact me at mddark@yahoo.com

I'll be setting up a page on the blog soon listing other upcoming Greener Grass classes and lessons.

In blog news, I'd like to thank the following websites for featuring some of my projects! I had a case of perm-a-grin (permanent grinning) last week because I was so happy to see my little projects out on the inter-web.

My Craft Table Make-Over was featured on Miss Mustard Seed's Furniture Feature Friday.

Thanks, Marian.

My Laundry Room Tour was featured on a creative blog called Tatertots and Jello (although David always refers to it as "Tatertots and Cool-whip")

Thanks so much, Jen. I loved telling Daddy and Jonathon that you said the lockers they built were "so fab!" Daddy says he's never been "fab" before.

And finally, thanks to Abby at Tales and Trials for having me guest post last Friday. Abby has an awesome blog, full of creative ideas and amazing thrifty finds.

Oh, and I almost forgot. Jack has chewed up another grill cover in order to fashion it into a blanket for the cooler weather that we are now experiencing. This makes 12.

Please send help. The dog whisperer, maybe?

So many exciting things are happening! Thanks for all of your support.
Melissa

Remember to contact me if you are interested in sewing lessons and to check out the Etsy store!

  7. I prayed for the Dog Whisperer to come when I had Lambert. She chewed up so many things. Can't wait to get some magnets!
